Ladies and lords that donate a prize are eligible to choose a prize from the prize pool at the end of the contest. The order of picking from the prize pool will be determined by the thrown weapons score. Highest scores choose first. The highest score will be awarded a bottle of wine (thrower must be 21 or older to be eligible) regardless of whether or not they contributed to the prize pool.

Reminders:

  • Only throwers who are 21 or older are eligible to compete for any alcoholic prizes.
  • Throwers 16 and older can participate in the Albino Oliphant fun throw.
  • Only throwers who contribute to the white elephant prize pool are eligible to pull an item from the white elephant prize pool at the end of the contest.
  • Eligible throwers will be able to pull an item from the white elephant prize pool at the end of the contest as determined by score. High scores will pick first. Low scores will pick last.
  • In the event of a tie, the winners will be determined by whose birthday is closest to 4 June.
Youth Tournament – A Game of Throws

Hardy young throwers are encouraged to come to the rescue of several stuffed animals. The evil King  Joffrey has captured our stuffed animal friends and has decided to hang them. Our young ladies and lords are tasked with throwing an axe or knife to cut the rope of their favorite stuffie and rescue them. Rescued stuffies can go home with their hero.

Reminders:

  • Heroes 9 and under must have a parent or guardian of legal age with them at the Thrown Weapons Range.
  • Heroes 10-13 must have a parent or guardian of legal age within visual and verbal hailing distance of the Thrown Weapons Range.
  • Heroes 14-17 must have a parent or guardian sign a release form at the Thrown Weapons Range.
  • Heroes must be strong enough to safely throw a knife or axe, and they must be mature enough to pay attention to thrown weapons marshals.
