A full day of performing arts high-jinks is on the menu for Northern Oaken War Maneuvers:
- From 11:00 to 4:00 pm, join Lady J and Crazy Llyw at the ever popular Magic Carpet Kavehane. We haven’t raised our prices—coffee,a sweet, or a cool drink for a song, story, dance, or musical performance. Join us to celebrate the fifth anniversary of Gorsedd (you don’t know about Gorsedd, ask us and get an extra cookie!) and the Kavehane.
- At high noon, the arts are there for you in the Pavilion for your mid-day enjoyment–a little dance, a little music, a little song to whet your appetite for the day’s activities.
- 4:00 pm at the Kavehane is the musicians’ hour–come, bring your instrument for a quiet hour of tune swapping and who knows what else.
- 8:00 pm- see and hear the best of the best as the Bardic Champions from the Northern Oaken Baronies and Shires vie for the Northern Oaken Lagniappe of Excellence (NOBLE)
- But wait, there’s more—After the NOBLE Competition the Knotty Dragon Tavern swings into action-this year the Knotty Dragon welcomes the fellow SCA-dians of Crystal Ball, a Blackmore’s Night tribute band.
