Their Excellencies Calum and Constanza cordially invite you to the 25th Annual Cleftlands Standard Bearers Tournament to be held on Saturday, August 20 at the Minion Ridge in Chardon, OH. Duties have called away those who currently serve the Barony, and so their Excellencies have invited the most skilled within their borders to compete for the honor of serving as champions in armored combat, rapier, archery, equestrian, and the arts! Come one and all to compete or to cheer for your favorites. For our younger populace, an activity area will be set aside for parent-supervised activities. All are welcome*!

* NO dogs (other than service dogs) are permitted.

Good news! All corrected insurance paperwork has been received, so equestrian activities have been green lighted. There are several load/unload missives for the site (for equestrians) as well as paddock/stall/shade information. Please contact James ap Llewelyn for details.

General Activities

Arts & Sciences Challenge – The A&S challenge for Standard Bearers should have something having to do with Cleftlands, a Cleftlands activity, or person. No documentation is necessary (although it’s always admired!) but be prepared to tell us about your entry and if necessary, explain how your entry relates to Cleftlands.

Needle Nook – Bring your hand projects to work on with other crafters. Show off what you learned during classes at the SCA 50 Year Celebration or Pennsic, and share class handouts. We’ll  gather under the baronial tent during the morning and afternoon prior to court.
