Craftsperson’s Display

Is competition not your thing, but you’d still like to display your work? Good news: we have a craftsperson’s display where any crafter or artisan can display their work at the event. Sorry, no alcoholic beverages permitted at the display (these can be shared in the B&V judging room.)

Baroness Alda’s MacGyver A&S Challenge

Give Lord MacGyver a run for his efforts by seeing what A&S item you can create from some randomly provided supplies. To help you along, use some of the extra items and tools provided. Timeframe is open ended so you can come and go as your commitments allow. Can you out-MacGyver you fellow craft mates?

Timeframe: Throughout the day
Cost: 0

Laurel’s Roundtable

A panel of tame Laurels in their natural habitat answer your questions. Questions can be submitted anonymously ahead of time. This panel will run from the scheduled end of judging until court starts.

Current list of proposed questions:

  • How long does it take to become a Laurel? / Why does it take so long?
  • How do you choose an apprentice? Do they have to have the same art as you?
  • What is a “Peer Like Quality”?
  • How important is the A&S Faire to the Laurels?
  • How important is it for a candidate to break new ground?
