Their Excellencies and the event steward thank everyone who helped make Standard Bearers and the North Oaken Regional A&S Faire a success.
The new baronial Standard Bearers are A&S champion Lady Lyonnette Vibert, rapier champion Lady Leonne de Frense and armored combat champion Lord Edrik Eiksson. The archery champion will be chosen at Fletchings of Spring in May.
Baron Edward will be elevated to the Order of the Laurel at Grand Tournament of the Dragon, April 27 near Cincinnati.
FUTURE DESSERT REVELS
April 24: The Cooks Guild challenge is making an edible flower dessert. See Lady Dorothea for more information.
UPCOMING BARONIAL EVENTS
May 18: Fletchings of Spring, held at Liberty Park in Twinsburg. The baronial archery championship will be held at this event, not Standard Bearers. Event steward is Lord Tarmach. There will be target and combat archery. One fee includes lunch. Due to site restrictions, money cannot be taken on site, so the event is pre-registration only. NEW: Preregistration is open at meetings, and PayPal information is on the event website.

200th St. Stroll: Saturday, June 1, Euclid. See Lady Shahzada to sign up.
Scottish Games: Saturday, June 22, Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds. Set-up help will be needed on Friday, June 21. A Google sign-up form will be available soon. See Lady Shahzada for more information.
OFFICER ANNOUNCEMENTS
New building note: Please use the door at the far end of the school, and not the center school door.
Event planning committee: The next meeting will be May 1.
New officers needed: Rapier marshal Lord Reinhardt (Labros) Mit Dem Bartand, Youth marshal Sergeant Bastian Eychener and chronicler Jolicia atte Northclyfe are stepping down soon and need replacements. An officer application can be found on the baronial website.
MOAS: A baronial field trip to see the Africa and Byzantium exhibit at the Cleveland Museum of Art is noon Sunday, May 19. Everyone is responsible for purchasing their own ticket.

GUILD ANNOUNCEMENTS
Needleworkers Guild: Meetings are held at Critical Hit gaming store in Cleveland Heights on the second and fourth Tuesdays at 6:30. See Lady Miriana to learn more.
Armorers Guild: Meetings are held most Thursdays on the West Side. NEW: The hosts will be traveling for the next few weeks, so please do not assume guild meetings will be happening without speaking to Baron Calum first.
Garb-a-Thons: These sessions are opportunities to work on garb, get help sewing garb, or just socialize. Check the baronial Google calendar for details, and see Mistress Thorhalla, Lady Genevra and Lady Chaiya for details.

OLD BUSINESS
Our new temporary meeting site is Ss. Robert and William Catholic Parish, at 367 E. 260th St., Euclid. Go to the school, not the church. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. A brief business meeting is held at 8:15 p.m. We need to vacate the site between 9:30 and 10 p.m. The barony will meet here until fall.
Youth officer: Families with children should introduce themselves to our Youth Officer, Lady Chaiya.
Exchequer: Members are asked to donate $2 per meeting, or $100 per year, to cover the cost of the meeting hall rental.
Quartermaster: The quartermaster must be notified at least two weeks in advance if a member wishes to borrow baronial gear.

The Barony of the Cleftlands is accepting applications for Rapier Marshal and Youth Marshal, and Quartermaster. These positions require current SCA membership. If you would like to be considered for any of these positions, please fill out the 
It’s on the same street as our current site (Richmond Rd becomes E 260th in Euclid), just 2.6 miles north, at the intersection of E 260th and Forestview Ave. They are giving us access to their gym, on the far north corner of the building, and two classrooms, as well as storage space for Iron Key, floor mats, and other items we currently store onsite. The gym is marked with a gold G in the map. They’ve asked us to use the closest entrance, which is circled in blue. The gym is approximately half the size of the one at St. Johns, as shown here.
They’ve also scheduled us in ‘The Grove’, a grassy area on the south-east corner of their lot, next to the playground, and equipped with several picnic tables. It is marked with a gold G in the map. They suggested this area for outdoor fighting, as it’d be more private than any other locations which would be right on E 260th Street.
Indoors, we’ll have access to a room directly off the gym, on the old stage, which has tables and chairs for 30 to 40 people set up.
They’ve also offered a second classroom but are determining which one to find the one we will use. Throughout the spring, it will be a currently occupied classroom, so we’ll want to be careful about how it is used.
