The Barony of the Cleftlands presents: The 20th Annual Cleftlands Standard Bearer's Tournament Where: The Links Golf Course Club House 26111 John Rd. Olmsted Falls, OH 44138 When: Saturday, October 1st, 2011. Site opens 10 am, closes 7:30 pm All event staff need to be off site by 8:30 pm. Why: To choose our Baronial champions! All comers are invited to participate in the day's tournaments without having to vie for the job of Champion. Come test the mettle of those who would be Champions! How much: $5 per person, $8 for feast. Children under 17 are free of charge for site, half price for feast! Feast seating is limited so reserve early!

All those hoping to be a Champion of the Cleftlands must vow to pursue their art for the Barony and no other until the next Standard Bearer's tournament. They must be acceptible to the populace of the Barony and must bring a tale of honor or virtue of a Cleftlander at a past Pennsic War.

Tentative Schedule

• 10 am - Site opens, authorizations and warm ups
• 10:30 am - Rapier tournament
• 12:00 pm - Heavy tournament, all A&S Entries must be on the table
• 1:30 pm - Archery tournament
• 3:30 pm - A&S judging
• 5:30 pm - Baronial court
• 6:00 pm - Feast
• 7:30 pm - Doors close

Note there is no lunch planned, please pack your lunch. This is a dry site (brewing and vinting entries for the A&S are acceptable, but no alcohol can be served.)

Directions

Take your best route to I-480 on the west side of Cleveland.

The Links Golf Course is located just south of the Great Northern Mall. From I-480 it is exit 6A (Columbia Rd. South; Ohio 252, Olmsted Falls...) Exit 6A points you in the right directions (south). Go about a mile and a half to John Rd. where there is a traffic light. Turn right and go about 3/4 of a mile. There is a sign for The Links on the left. Look for SCA signs.
