Announcements
- We have signed a contract with site for another year. We will be paying $100 a week, paid for by your site tithe. Thank you for the many other options provided, but after negotiations, our current site was cost competitive.
Events
- Claricia is looking for help in the kitchen on the day of.
- Zsof announced that they are still looking for people to work as royal retainers, royal room guards, and as a brute squad to help the royalty load and unload their gear at the event. Also, needed is a ‘grunt team’ to help prep the fighting hall for court, and the populace room for feast.
- Jolicia will be leading an effort to create decorations at next week’s meeting. Please come to make things. Also, she is looking for people to bring banners, with their own stands and marked with your name, as hall decorations. If you can bring them to the next few meetings, they’ll be set up on Friday night.
- Troll is open at meeting, and will be until the Wednesday immediately before the event. Pre-reg to avoid the lines. Madelaine is also looking for help at the Troll table the day of the event.
Guilds
Guilds are the special interest groups of the SCA: people working together to focus on a particular activity. Everyone is welcome to attend these meetings.
- Woodworkers Guild does not meets this Thursday due to illness.
- Armorer’s Guild meets at Ealdred’ and Clariel’s home this Thursday, 7-10 pm . Please contact Calum at calum@att.net for information or directions.
- Unofficial Fencing Practice meets this Sunday. Please contact Cynwrig for details at atjimpretz@sbcglobal.net.
- Leatherwork’s Guild will meet at Oliver’s at 7 pm on Tuesday. Please contact Oliver at adifferenttwist@gmail.com or on Oliver Stillman on Facebook for directions and information.
- Needleworkers Guild is looking to gather ideas for upcoming projects at next week’s Baronial meeting. Let Madelaine know what ideas you have for the new year at meeting, or contact her at ladymadelaine@sbcglobal.net.

- Elizabeth is collecting used drinking vessels (not plastic) for their Highnesses, who will be sharing them with newcomer’s during their reign.
