- We’ll be restricted to the downstairs for meetings for the time being.
Events
- Regular Event theme is Love and Death. Volunteers are still needed. Contact Dimtrii about where you can help. Contact Sorcha about teaching a class at the event. Claricia is looking for help in the kitchen: both before the event to make Hero dishes and during.
- Newcomer’s Revel is next Wednesday. Please let Sor Crispin know what displays or activities you’ll be bringing to share. We will have limited space, as we’ll be downstairs only, so please consider that when choosing what to bring. If you can bring banners or hangings, coordinate getting them up with Dimitri.
- On 10/5, Ashley will be teaching a class on Beaded flowers.
Guilds
Guilds are the special interest groups of the SCA: people working together to focus on a particular activity. Everyone is welcome to attend these meetings.

- Armorer’s Guild will be meeting at Ealdred’ and Clariel’s home this Thursday, 7-10 pm . Please contact Calum at calum@att.net for information or directions.
- Unofficial Fencing Practice meets this Sunday. Please contact Cynwrig for details atjimpretz@sbcglobal.net.
- East side archery practice meets next Tuesday starting at 5:30 at the home of Gwyneth and Muldonney, 411 Douglas Blvd, Richmond Heights, OH 44143. Donations will be used to replace archery butts, foam, and targets. Loaner equipment is available.
- Scribes Guild will meet at Brackenburye Cottage on Oct 3 specifically to work with Sorcha on painting miniatures.

- Many thanks to the 80 people who participated in the Mapleside Demo. She introduced Cadfan who joined us after the Mapleside Demo two years ago, and is now a very active participant in it.
